Emma & Chris’s wedding gallery reminded me why I love photographing weddings so much.

Five years ago, when I was just 17 and nervously telling people I wanted to be a photographer, Emma was one of the very first to cheer me on. She trusted me with photos of her little girl - and that trust meant the world to me back then.

Fast forward to today, and I just delivered Emma & Chris’s wedding gallery from their beautiful day at The Barge Inn this August. While editing their images, I couldn’t help but notice the way Chris adds to Emma’s happiness, and how Emma lights up around him in return. They truly bring out the best in one another, and it was such a gift to witness.

That’s the heart behind what I do - not just capturing pretty details (though there were plenty of those!), but preserving the love, joy, and connection between two people starting their forever.

Emma & Chris, your day was every bit as lovely as you both are. I’m so grateful I had the honor of documenting it. And honestly? If I could share every single photo from your wedding here, I would.

A massive thank you to my wonderful second shooter, @scarlettsimmsphotography, for capturing the day alongside me - you’re truly the best! An extra shoutout to Mary, one of Emma’s closest friends and the talent behind NotOldButVinted, who brought such gorgeous boho touches to their wedding, and to Emma’s sister Claire (@clairescaketin) for creating the most stunning (and delicious!) cake.

Here are just a few of my favourite moments from their day… and can we take a second to appreciate the pastel pink tones? Such a dreamy choice for a colour palette - amazing call Emma (and Chris 😉).
