I want to start this blog by sending a huge congratulations to Rosie and Tom on their beautiful wedding at Rhosygilwen Mansion in Pembrokeshire on August 3rd!
I first met Rosie a few years ago at college, long before Santara Photography began. Back then, I was just dreaming about becoming a wedding photographer. I still remember taking a portrait of Rosie during a studio session, and it quickly became one of my favourite images. I often thought to myself, “If Rosie and Tom ever get married, I’d love to be the one to capture it.” Fast forward a few years - I had launched Santara Photography and Rosie reached out to tell me she and Tom were engaged. I was beyond excited and honoured when she asked me to photograph their big day.
Their wedding was nothing short of magical. From the morning preparations to the laughter (and slightly tipsy dancing!) late into the evening, every moment was filled with joy, love, and celebration. Rhosygilwen Mansion provided the most stunning backdrop with so many beautiful spots for portraits.
I’m so grateful to Rosie and Tom for trusting me with such an important day - it’s one I’ll never forget! A huge thank you as well to the best men, their wonderful families, the bridesmaids, groomsmen, and friends who made the day so memorable. And of course, a special shoutout to my good friend Luke for assisting me throughout.
